Madrid hosts many industry trade fairs, and different crowds walk through the halls. That density is exactly why exhibitors need to plan their trade shows in Madrid. Also, booth positions at IFEMA go fast, and exhibition stand builders in Madrid get booked out well before the show floor even opens.
Below are the five shows worth participating in exhibitions in Madrid taking place in 2026-07 that should be on your radar right now. ExproGlobal has worked these halls for 15+ years, so we know how you can achieve the most just by exhibiting.
1. Fruit Attraction 2026 Madrid
Date: 6 – 8 October 2026
Fruit Attraction has grown into the reference point for the global fresh produce trade, and the numbers show it. Over 2,200 exhibitors and 117,000+ visitors from around 100 countries came through the last edition. The show covers the entire fruit and vegetable value chain, such as growers, exporters, retail buyers, logistics providers and more.
2. ESMO 2026 Madrid
Date: 23 – 27 October 2026
ESMO 2026 is the European Society for Medical Oncology’s annual congress. This is a premium gathering of the global oncology world. Clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, journalists, and the whole industry come under one roof at IFEMA. Past editions have pulled in over 37,000 attendees and around 160 exhibitors, with pharma and medtech companies using their custom stands to put on tier innovations.
3. Matelec 2026 Madrid
Date: 24 – 26 November 2026
Matelec 2026 is one of the biggest exhibitions for electrical and computer technology. It takes place every two years at IFEMA. Together with the GENERA fair, the International Week of Electrification and Decarbonisation will be part of the 2026 version. This will cover a wide range of topics, from smart factory technology to lights to grid infrastructure. Over the course of three days, there will be about 800 exhibitors and 59,000 business people.
4. FITUR Madrid 2027
Date: 20 – 24 January 2027
FITUR is a tourism trade fair and its 47th edition is expanding into two additional halls to fit demand. Puerto Rico comes on as a partner country this year. The first three days are all business, with deals being made between venues, airlines, hotel groups, and other companies. The show will be then open to everyone. This means that exhibitors at FITUR 2027 get both B2B and consumer exposure at the same show.
5. INTERGIFT Madrid 2027
Date: 3 – 6 February 2027
INTERGIFT 2027 is the leading fair of gifts, home design and decoration since 1979. Previous versions of the fair have attracted up to 15,000 professionals, including gift categories, textiles and interior décor in several rooms. Exhibitors require a custom or double-decker booth to showcase their products because the audience here is very design-forward.
